Warranty
Who does the limited warranty apply to?
Our warranty applies to the original purchaser of the mattress and is from date of purchase. Please retain your proof of purchase, as our limited warranties are not transferrable.
What does the limited warranty cover?
- Indentations more than 32mm that are not caused by improper use.
- Physical flaws of the product. E.g. splits, cracks and tears (despite use under normal conditions)
- Manufacturing defects including zippers.
What does the limited warranty exclude?
- Stains, soiling, pilling or burns to the mattress and fabric cover.
- Comfort preference. (Your body may take 30 days to adjust to the mattress)
- Damage due to inappropriate bed foundation.
- Mattresses sold as “used, as is, previously owned, second hand, comfort return” or any wording that indicates the mattress is not new or has previously belonged to another consumer.
- Normal increase in softness of the foam, which does not affect the pressure relieving qualities of the mattress.
- Change of mind.
- Natural aroma of the mattress (this usually disappears 48 hours after opening)
How do I make a claim?
For any enquiries on the Slumba Mattress limited warranty, email us at
[email protected]
.
Please Note: Normal usage assumes the consumer has placed the mattress on flat foundations and the body is positioned horizontally.
Returns
Can I return my Slumba products?
Aside from the Slumba promise and reassurance that you will be receiving a quality product at an extremely affordable price you can find comfort that you also have certain coverage under Australian Consumer Laws. If the mattress has any faults we will of course give you a full refund as per the ACCC consumer rights and guarantees.
Do you offer a trial?
No, we don't offer a mattress trial however we offer something better.
Here are the reasons why we don't offer a trial:
1.
Your time is better spent living than returning products...
Don't toss and turn for 100 days, trying to work out if you should return your mattress. Spend that time and energy catching up with your mates instead.
2.
What is the likelihood of you returning the product after 100 days?
We all settle in life; don't settle with your mattress.
3.
How do you take a day off to organise someone to pick up your mattress...
WIN! Day off! However, go and spend that on a holiday!
4.
Now if you do return the mattress... you are honestly just creating more landfill... or supplying someone else with an already slept on mattress... (Which makes us question how hygienic this is)
Here's a fact: 1.25 million mattresses end up in landfill a year... we do not want to add to that.
Our mission is to provide a good night's rest to all Australians. We don't want you to go without a mattress, go through the unnecessary return process or add to our growing landfill.
We have been offering the mattress in a box concept to retailers since 2010, and through this we have worked out the best density and support that will allow you to sleep better. However, if you are unhappy with our mattress, we will cater to your individual sleeping needs the best we can. As our slogan suggests,
We Support Aussie Sleepers
and we guarantee that you'll have a good night's rest on the Slumba Mattress otherwise we've got your back.
The mattress that cares (About the mattress & how to care for it)

Either a thickness of 25cm or 30cm of memory foam goodness wrapped in a hypoallergenic cotton cover

MEMair Foam
Base Layer:
Vitality Foam
What sizes does the mattress come in?
Our mattress comes in traditional Australian sizing:
Single:
92cm (w) x 187cm (l) x 25cm (h)
Double:
137cm (w) x 187cm (l) x 25cm (h)
Queen:
153cm (w) x 203cm (l) x 25cm (h)
King:
183cm (w) x 203cm (l) x 25cm (h)
Why does the Slumba Mattress cost so much less than other mattresses?
A quality sleep shouldn’t cost you the earth and with Slumba, it doesn’t. There’s no pushy salesman, unnecessarily gigantic showrooms and excessively expensive delivery. We’ve included extra goodies like soft Reflection Gel and breathable MEMair Foam into the mattress without the additional charge.
Do I need to rotate or flip my mattress?
If you usually sleep alone on one side of the bed or have a weight difference with your mattress partner, then we do recommend rotating the bed 180 degrees every 3-6 months.
Can I use an electric blanket with my Slumba Mattress?
Memory foam is heat reactive which means the foam density changes as it heats up, therefore we don't recommend using an electric blanket with your Slumba Mattress. However, memory foam does hold some heat which means that it may be warmer than other mattresses.
Do I need to use a mattress protector?
Like any mattress, the Slumba Mattress needs a little love. A mattress protector is a great way to keep it free from stains and prevents exposure to dust mites, microbes and other allergens. Plus, it extends the life of your mattress!
Can I wash the mattress cover?
Absolutely! Simply zip off the cover and hand wash in warm soapy water (washing machines may cause the cover to catch causing it to rip). Air dry the cover on the line to help keep its shape. (Don't use a clothes dryer)
